Dr. Nguyen integrates AI creatively into STEM education through scaffolded assignments that help students visualize complex biological systems while building digital-literacy skills. She leads an IRB-approved study to measure how AI enhances comprehension and engagement in undergraduate courses. An active participant in UF's HHP AI Faculty Learning Community and the AI and Research in Teaching and Learning FLC, she is developing AI in Action: Problem Solving in Health, Fitness and Human Performance—UF's first "Use-AI"-designated course in her college. Dr. Nguyen is an instructional associate professor in the Department of Applied Physiology and Kinesiology.
