Dr. Andrea Ramirez-Salgado champions inclusive, ethical AI education that empowers students to pursue socially responsible innovation. She is responsible for developing core courses including AI Systems, Applied Deep Learning, and Applied Machine Learning for UF's master's programs in AI Systems and Applied Data Science. As student engagement coordinator for the Nelms Institute for the Connected World and co-PI on NSF-funded projects, she leads initiatives from microcredential design to AI Days programming and international collaboration through UF's 100K Strong in the Americas partnership. Dr. Andrea Ramirez-Salgado is an instructional assistant professor in the Department of Engineering Education at the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering.
