Associate Director, Communications and Marketing
Renee Buchanan has had a 40+ year career in higher education, working for the University of Florida, University of South Florida and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. An award-winning communicator, she has received more than 20 CASE awards for higher ed communications and marketing from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education. At the University of Florida, Renee has served as editor of Florida Physician magazine, alumni affairs director for the UF College of Medicine, and a communicator for the Division of Enrollment Management. She joined the AI2 Center in 2023 to manage communication and marketing needs in telling the story of the successful integration of AI across the UF curriculum.
