Instructional Assistant Professor, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences
Saroj Pokharel is an instructional assistant professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Florida. I teach a large-enrollment physics course in person, along with two other undergraduate physics courses in which I integrate AI tutors developed by UF. My goal is to increase student engagement with these tutors so students can explore physics concepts, work through problems, and prepare for exams more effectively. I have two years of experience teaching undergraduate physics and hold a degree in High Energy Physics from the University of Mississippi. In addition to teaching in-person and online courses, I train graduate teaching assistants to lead discussion sections in our large-enrollment course, supporting consistent, high-quality instruction.
